Honda Civic Hybrid

The second generation Civic Hybrid Civic generation after upgrade road and was built in the eighth generation Honda Civic Platform. Here is a list of additional technological advances that have been introduced, compared with the first generation Civic Hybrid, and / or regular (gasoline) Civilian Model:

      * Fourth-generation Integrated Motor Assist (IMA).
      * 1.3 L single overhead Cam four-cylinder gas engine same as before, but now, along with the high profile of the shaft. This increases power to 93 hp (69 kW) @ 6000 rpm.
      * In addition to the third stage I-VTEC and VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) permits deactivation of all four cylinders when the slow and constant cruising. This allows the car to run solely on electricity for the first time.
      * Manual transmission option was discontinued.
      * According to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mileage estimate was raised to 40 MPG (U.S.) (5.9 l/100 km, 16.94 km / L) city, 45 MPG (U.S.) (5.2 l/100 km , 19.23 km / L) Highway [1].
      * 15-inch light alloy wheels (in the future be part of the regular Civic DX-G package a)

In the Honda Civic Hybrid is often compared to the Toyota Prius. Civic Hybrid has a smaller but more powerful four-cylinder gasoline engine 1.3L 95BHP, as compared to the 1.5L 76BHP for Prius. Civilian electronic engine care is the 20BHP, a Prius is much more powerful email engine, 67BHP. Prius is credited as the best fuel mileage. In the base MSRP on a civilian (U.S.) $ 22,600 [2], and the Prius Base MSRP is $ 21500 to $ 23770 [3].
